The overall winner of the AM Rising Stars, in association with Courland Automotive Practice, will have a place reserved on the highly regarded Ashridge Leadership Process course.

The five-day programme at Ashridge Business School in Berkhamsted, Herts, helps participants to become the best leader they can in their professional role. It is aimed at mid to senior level managers or experienced team leaders.

Rising Stars is looking for the next generation of automotive leaders – those who will shape the strategic direction and dictate future policies of the industry.

It sets out to identify and recognise these people, and the companies nuturing the talent. The finalists and an overall winner will be announced at an exclusive awards lunch on April 21, 2005 at The Church House, Westminster, London.

“Ashridge is delighted to be taking part in the Rising Stars Awards and providing the overall winner with a place on the Ashridge Leadership Process,” says Kai Peters, Ashridge chief executive. “We look forward to welcoming one of the automobile industry’s star performers.”

Ashridge is one of the world’s leading business schools. In the latest Financial Times ranking for tailored executive education, it was 2nd in the UK. Its activities include open and tailored executive education programmes (website address www.ashridge.com/alp).
