Ford Motor Company has unveiled a new line-up of performance vehicles at the New York International Motor Show this week.

Ford's stand includes the Shelby Cobra GT500, Sport Trac Adrenalin and Limited Edition Tungsten GT.

The Shelby Cobra GT500 is powered by a 450hp, supercharged V8, six-speed manual transmission and SVT-tuned suspension. It will be available in the US next year.

The Sport Trac Adrenalin will be available in the US in 2007. The four passenger SUV includes a supercharged, 390hp V8 paired with SVT’s first six-speed automatic and all-wheel-drive.

The new model also features four-wheel independent suspension for balanced dynamics and AdvanceTrac with roll stability control.

A special limited-edition exterior colour Limited Edition Tungsten GT is also being offered in 2006 in the U.S.

There are currently no plans to bring these vehicles to Europe.
