Turnover at Armour Group has risen 27% year-on-year.The Bordon-based supplier of car stereo and audio-visual equipment reports “steady growth” in business with Pendragon and Arnold Clark.

Its interim results for the six months to February 2005 reveal a new contract with Rolls-Royce Cars to supply Veba audio-visual systems. Meanwhile, development of a prototype multi-media system for Bentley in the final stages. The company also supplies systems for the BMW X3 with repeat orders from Hyundai for its Trajet and Matrix vehicles.

“We continue to develop successful new solutions for a number of vehicle manufacturers,” says Bob Morton, chairman.

Operating profits for the group as a whole increased to £2m from £1.7m.
