The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders has issued February’s pre-registration figures. 566 new cars were pre-registered, worth a total of £4.97m.

Manufacturers are required by the Supply of New Cars Order 2000 to publish the number of pre-registered cars supplied and the gross income received on a monthly basis.
