Toyota's new £11.2 million training centre will be based in the UK.

The E-GPC (European – Global Production training Centre), a 8,000 square meter site, will provide skills training in production and maintenance methods to employees throughout Toyota's European manufacturing operations.

The E-GPC will be located within the grounds of Toyota’s plant which produces Avensis and Corolla models. It will open in January to train up to 1,000 employees each year from their eight European sites.

The E-GPC will provide a range of courses using specially developed workstations, simulated production environments and the latest maintenance technology to improve and develop key vehicle production skills.
