Limited to 250 righthand drive models, the new A4 DTM Edition Saloon is now available to order in Britain at an OTR price of £29,980, for first deliveries in September.
Audi high performance specialist division quattro GmbH has modified the directly fuel injected four-cylinder, 2.0-litre turbo FSI petrol engine, raising power from 198bhp to 218bhp and torque from 280Nm to 300Nm. The A4 DTM is capable of accelerating from rest to 62mph in 7.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 153mph.
New 18-inch, 15-spoke alloy wheels are now part of the exterior design along with a lowered sports suspension. The single frame front grille is now a redesigned front bumper with additional air intakes and a black carbon fibre chin spoiler derived from motor sport. The door mirrors can also be finished in Phantom Black at no extra cost.
Interior additions include Recaro sports seats with silver side stitching upholstered in Nardia microfibre fabric with leather side sections. Leather and Nardia microfibre also covers the 3-spoke sports steering wheel, and Nardia is used for the handbrake lever and gear knob.
