ChryslerJeep has named the 14 approved aftersales sites for the new range of Dodge Ram pick-up trucks.

Made up of smaller retailers and large dealer groups, they provide coverage from Portsmouth up to Stoke-on-Trent.

Lancaster has three sites, Stratstone two, Pentagon, Marshalls and Whitehouse one each, while Bells, Milton Keynes, Course and Beacham, Southampton, Cumbo, Stoke-on-Trent, Holden, Norwich, Peter Stockhill, Hull and Knowl Hill, Reading make up the remainder.

All 88 dealers in the Chrysler network will sell Dodge Ram models. The 14 who have taken up approved aftersales status have specifically requested to do so and meet manufacturer standards and geographic considerations. Dealership technicians have undergone specialist training and franchisees have invested in new equipment.

Two versions of the meaty pick-ups are available. The 8.3-litre engine 500bhp Dodge Ram SRT-10 Quad Cab costs £44,644 and the 5.7-litre 4x4 Laramie 1500 Quad Cab retails for £30,544.
