I completed a management training course in Norwich with Mann Egerton.
What does your job entail?
Strategic planning, looking after cashflows and dealing with Marriott Motor Group’s customers and staff.
How will your job change over the next few years?
Ensuring continued stability at the Marriott Motor Group as I work towards retirement.
I worked for Mann Egerton in various capacities.
What advice would you give to young people planning to join the industry?
Get a degree and as much experience of dealing with people as possible.
What’s the worst career move you’ve ever made?
Not having made more job moves. But I have no regrets.
And the best?
Joining Taylor Barnard, (predecessor of Marriott Motor Group).
Where do you see yourself in 10 years’ time?
Hopefully still alive!
