The latest industry appointements.

Paul Legerton has been appointed Mini manager at Blue Bell Mini in Crewe, Cheshire. Legerton is currently based at the group’s existing dealership in Weston Road but will soon be moving to the new site at Gateway, which is due to open in November.

Manbat has appointed Rhod Eaton to head-up its special products division. He will be responsible for identifying new profit opportunities and assisting customers. Eaton previously worked for Deta batteries and Autostart.

Springfield Motor Group’s Honda dealership in Scotswood Road, Newcastle has added four members of staff to its expanding business. Angela McIntyre is the new corporate sales executive while Stephen Gosling, a former apprentice mechanic, has accepted a position as sales executive. Trudi Smith is the new service advisor at the dealership and Tracey Shield has been appointed as sales administrator.

Kevin Wiltshire has been promoted to manager for sales and client relationships at the Renault Nissan Institute. He will be responsible for developing opportunities in non-automotive sectors such as oil, gas and nuclear.

Janet Unwin is now daily rental manager at DCFM (DaimlerChrysler Fleet Management). Unwin, who began her career in 1995 at Daewoo Cars, previously held the post of purchasing manager at DCFM. She will be responsible for developing the daily rental sector.
