Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders Vice President, Graham Smith of Toyota (GB), has been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2006 GreenFleet Awards held at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium.

As chairman of the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership (LowCVP), Smith has been instrumental in the success of the eco-label scheme, which aims to increase public awareness of the environmental impact of consumer choice.

For his work on behalf of LowCVP and Toyota, GreenFleet magazine felt him worthy winner of this year's Lifetime Achievement Award.
