Stephen Hollings has left Honda UK, which has combined his former role of head of corporate sales with the duties of Bernard Bradley.

Bradley, head of sales operations cars, is now responsible for the amalgamated sales area of corporate, B2B and sales operations.

A Honda insider says Hollings’ role was made redundant by the carmaker’s decision to combine sales responsibilities into one role. He was left in competition for the new post with Bradley, BMW’S general manager of sales, who won the job in August.

Hollings had been with Honda for 12 years, during which he held the roles of head of marketing for Honda UK and head of product launch and product PR for Honda Motor Europe.

Ewan Ramsay, general manager of Honda (UK) Car division, says Hollings had made “such a valuable contribution” and he is sad to see him go. Hollings’ career highlights, according to the manufacturer, include overseeing the European launch of the new Accord and launching Civic into the UK fleet market.
