Honda is the highest placed automotive company in the latest poll of the UK’s best companies to work for.

The Slough based firm game 27th in the 100-strong poll, published in The Sunday Times. Avis Rent A Car came 60th, with Volkwagen – the only other manufacturer in the list – at 66.

Insurance provider Mondial came 69th.

Topping the poll was manufacturer WL Gore & Associates. The results are based on employee survey and company entries. Any public and private company, partnership, Government agency, not-for-profit organisation, at least five years old, and with at least 50 employees is eligible to enter.
