The specialist car manufacturer is the latest to approve the repair centre, alongside Jaguar, Land Rover and BMW.
To gain Aston Martin’s approval the bodyshop went through a process of inspections and audits, which covered its facilities, equipment and staff’s skills, as well as a specialist assessment of its aluminium repair capability.
It has also established a mobile assessment and estimate team that will go to a damaged Aston Martin anywhere in the north west of England.
Robert Buckley, Blue Bell bodyshop director, says: “Aluminium repairs are a key consideration for several manufacturers. Not only do panel beaters need specific training, but the facilities need to be airtight to prevent contamination.”
Blue Bell carries out about 80 repairs per week.
