Online think tank launched

Cenex (centre of excellence for low carbon and fuel cell technologies) has launched its new knowledge transfer network (KTN), to help speed up getting new technology introduced to mainstream businesses.

The KTN will provide a web portal with information of technological and market technology advances. It is hoped it will ‘encourage active participation in the exchange of ideas between industry and academic networks with common interests, acting within the field of low carbon and fuel cell technologies’.

The launch took place simultaneously in London and Yokohama, with its KTN partners, SMMT Foresight Vehicle, Fuel Cells Today and Fuel Cells UK.

Robert Evans, CEO of Cenex, said: “It will play a vital role in making the necessary connections between various players, from academia, industry, customers and the investor community, necessary to encourage innovation growth.”
