DaimlerChrysler has appointed Peter Lambert as managing director of Chrysler Group UK.

Lambert succeeds Simon Elliott, who took over a new role with the DaimlerChrysler Group in China at the end of March.

Lambert will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities for the Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge brands in the UK.
