Universal Salvage is preparing to launch an accident management company in September.

The business will be called Ascio and will supply white-label services to insurance companies, fleets, car manufacturers and leasing companies.

Anne Bermingham, its group marketing manager, says packages can be tailored for customers to pick and choose from its range of services.

“We’re putting it all together at the moment and it is an exciting move for us. Our services will help improve customer service as we’ll be able to expedite claims quicker and be more cost-effective,” says Bermingham.

The company will be based in the north of England, although it is still looking for premises. It will be headed by Universal’s chief operating officer, Matthew Briggs.
