John Parker has been appointed as group vice president, Asia Pacific and Africa for the Ford Motor Company.

He will remain as representative director and vice chairman of the Mazda board.

Robert J. Graziano takes up Parker’s role as new executive vice president of Mazda Motor Corporation and also becomes a president at Ford.

Parker will resign as executive vice president of Mazda, but will continue as a member of the board of directors as representative director and vice chairman.

Both appointments are effective on September 1.
