Motor Trade Selection (MTS) has undergone a period of restructuring.

Rather than operating like a traditional recruitment consultancy, it will now have two sides to its business – one focusing entirely on the quality of the candidates, the other on delivery of service to the clients.

“Over the last 18 months we’ve made two redundancies, one of which was a senior consultant,” says Guy Liddell, managing director at MTS. “But overall we still have the same number of people working for us as we did at the start of the year.”

Jason Jeggo, director of business development, will be responsible for the clients, while Joanna Jenks, candidate manager, ensures that candidates are right for the industry and MTS’ clients.

Liddell told AM that he will now be focusing more on working on various projects with clients, rather than leading the recruitment side of the business.

“I’ve been getting less involved in the day to day running of the recruitment side of things over the last three years and now that has just been formalized,” he says. “We’re now looking to the future as a refocused recruitment business.”
