Kia Motors UK has appointed Sun Young Kim as its new president and CEO, with immediate effect.

Kim arrives from Hyundai Mobis in Korea where he held the position of vice president of international business division to succeed BK Jang who has returned to Korea.

Kim said: “It’s now my job to ensure that Kia UK continues towards its goal of 100,000 units per year. We have entered 2007 with an excellent range of vehicles; the launch of the Cee’d will not only add to but highlight the quality that we are able to produce. Our seven year warranty has reinforced the confidence we have in our products,” he added.
