Vauxhall has produced a unique marketing offer designed to draw in customers for its new Corsa.

It is offering three years’ fully comprehensive insurance for a one-off payment of £399, to customers aged 21-80 buying its Club variants, or aged 23-80 if buying the sportier SXi variants.

The carmaker claims the package could mean savings of up to £2,800 over three years for younger drivers, while experienced drivers with a clean licence and full no-claims bonus could save more than £500.

For drivers aged 19-20, Vauxhall offers a discounted insurance package, with one year’s cover for £399.

The Corsa advertising campaign is centred around animated puppet band The C’Mons. Vauxhall says more than 13,000 C’Mon figures and 15,000 keyrings have been sold through dedicated website www.thecmons.co.uk, plus car stickers and T-shirts.
