JCT600 Contracts, the vehicle funding and management company, has signed up with 1link Hire Network e-commerce software.

The move will enable JCT600 Contracts to handle all daily rental bookings for its 6,100-vehicle fleet online, using the 1link Hire Network in collaboration with its preferred rental suppliers.

Steve Pyke, customer services manager at JCT600 Contracts, said: "Adopting 1link Hire Network will enable our daily rental team to avoid having to double key all the short term hire requests we receive, minimising administration on invoice processing and giving us first time accuracy on sales invoices.

"Ultimately, these increases in efficiency should then enable us to expand our current daily rental customer penetration."

JCT600 Contracts, part of one of the JCT600 dealer group, was founded in 1988 to offer vehicle leasing and management services to the corporate market.

Ken Trinder, head of business development at epyx, the company behind 1link, said: "The impetus of 1link Hire Network has been building gradually since its launch two years ago but there has been a definite acceleration in late 2007 with the signing of a number of major leasing companies and other large customers. We will be able to announce more details about these very soon."
