Technicians at franchised dealer John Grose in Diss made an unusual diagnosis while fixing a customer’s MG.

After Clifford Bird complained that the silver ZS was struggling to accelerate, staff investigated and discovered the air box was crammed with five and a half pounds of peanuts.

Bird was relieved to find out the cause of the problem.

He suggested a mouse had hoarded the nuts, which were usually kept in a sack in his garage.
