Volvo is providing cars over the Christmas period for a national charity for homeless people.

Crisis Open Charity volunteers have been provided with a fleet of cars including the V50 sportswagon and S40 and S60 saloons to help them reach out to single homeless people.

The Volvo fleet will help transport essential equipment and food, as well as volunteers, to a number of temporary homes that Crisis set up each year over the festive period.

Stuart Kerr, Volvo UK managing director, said: “As a socially responsible company that believes in taking the best care of people, it’s a pleasure to play an active role in helping to bring people together at this special time of year.”
