Cadillac will add an estate version of its BLS saloon to its UK line-up towards the end of this year.

It is the first estate version of a Cadillac in the company’s 104-year history.

The front-wheel drive BLS Wagon is offered with a turbo-diesel and three turbocharged petrol engines. The 1.9L four-cylinder diesel engine, with common-rail direct-injection technology, is fitted with a particulate filter and delivers 150bhp of power. The range of petrol engines includes two 2.0L four-cylinder versions (175bhp and 210bhp), and a 255bhp 2.8L V-6.

The BLS Wagon offers six-speed manual transmissions and five- or six-speed automatic transmissions. For BLS models equipped with an automatic transmission, a standard sport mode button is available for a sportier transmission shift pattern.

Full pricing details will be revealed nearer to its fourth quarter launch this year.
