The Office of Fair Trading has launched a month-long ‘OFT Approved’ codes awareness campaign this week, advising consumers to look for businesses displaying the OFT Approved code logo when buying goods and services.

The campaign will run throughout March in six targeted areas: London, West Midlands, Tyneside, Greater Manchester, Scotland and Wales.

The OFT Approved code logo shows that the business sporting it is a member of a trade body with a code of practice approved by the OFT which offers consumers a 'high level' of customer service.
