Citroën sells more than 60,000 used cars a year, making it one of the UK’s top ten selling marques. Experian’s Car Data Check and Vehicle Mileage Check will now be promoted to over more than 200 Citroën dealerships across the UK as the carmaker’s preferred services to help ensure their approved used cars have no hidden secrets.
Michael Brown, head of vehicle remarketing at Citroën, said the carmaker conducted a review and found that Experian offered a comprehensive service that carried the most value for money.
He added: “Citroën is a trusted and popular brand amongst the used car buying public in the UK. We want to minimise any concerns that car buyers normally associate with buying a used car and assure them that by choosing an approved used Citroën, they will be acquiring a vehicle with full provenance and no hidden secrets.
Kirk Fletcher, managing director of Experian Automotive, said: “Experian already supports most of the approved used car programmes in the UK, helping manufacturers protect their brand reputation.
