Manufacturers pre-registered 452 vehicles in April.

The gross value of the pre-registered cars was over £4.8 million, according to the latest figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.

Peugeot, Ford and Vauxhall all pre-registered over 100 vehicles each.

The Supply of New Cars Order 2000 requires motor manufacturers to publish the number of pre-registered cars supplied and the gross income received by suppliers from selling those pre-registered cars.
