Honda UK has appointed Harvey Hughes to lead its corporate sales department.

Hughes’ new title as manager of corporate operations means he will be responsible for all four of Honda’s corporate sales departments.

Hughes was previously in charge of the major corporate and small business sales and Honda’s dealer-based fleet programmes.

He reports directly to Bernard Bradley, head of car sales, who has responsibility for integrating all aspects of Honda sales.

Honda corporate sales now has four separate account teams:

Major corporate accounts
This team deals with 100+ fleets and includes two regional sales managers and six corporate sales managers.

Leasing and contract hire
Lee Wheeler has joined Honda (UK) to head up this team, which manages Honda’s relationship with the contract hire and leasing companies, data and RV information providers, along with Special Vehicle Operations sales to the emergency services. Lee was formerly a Regional Operations Manager in Honda Motor Europe.

B2B dealer programme
Headed by Harvey Hughes and managed by Ashley Wheeler, the B2B team is driving sales to local businesses through a special business-to-business programme designed for local corporate sales.

Fleet after sales
Brian ‘BJ’ Jameson looks after this section of the Corporate team, which runs Honda’s fleet after sales programme.
