Aftermarket parts supplier AC Delco is gearing up for growth, with the formation of a new sales team and new headquarters.

Lee Quinney has been appointed sales and marketing director, charged with driving forward the company’s expansion plan. Quinney previously worked with Valeo in national account manager and field sales manager roles.

He said: “AC Delco offers 70,000 quality parts across more than 30 product lines, enabling us to cover around 85% of the light repair and maintenance automotive parts market.”

He is recruiting a three-strong sales team initially, which will target motor factors, distributors and specialist automotive parts outlets. Quinney’s aim is to increase his UK customer base from 80 to 200 by the end of the year, with support from finance manager Jakina Matthews and customer service manager Nicola Keep.

The company recently moved its head office from Newport Pagnell to Luton, bringing the administration and storage facilities together onto one site. It currently has 25,000sq ft of warehousing.
