Chorley Nissan Blackpool has taken on Caledonia’s Fiat site after reaching an agreement with the Italian manufacturer.

Chorley’s Nissan site in Blackpool is located just across the road from the ex-Caledonia site and all staff have been retained.

Caledonia went into administration on January 14 and had previously announced that its dealerships in Blackpool, Newport, Manchester and Chester would be closed.

Cambria Motors bought four Fiat dealerships from Caledonia earlier this week and will also represent Fiat at a new site in Manchester.

Fiat said it was looking for a suitable site for Cambria to represent the Italian brand, but until then would be covered in the Manchester area by Cambria’s other Fiat dealerships in Preston, Warrington and Oldham.
