Latest figures from HPI show some depreciation values in the used car market are slowing, although the outlook is still grim.
Twelve month old city cars are depreciating slower while superminis and small cars appear to be levelling out.
However three-year-old cars as a whole have slipped from a decline of 25.5% to 28.1%.
Analysis of fuel type reveals three-year-old petrol cars have the greatest decline increasing from 27% to 30%.
