Porsche has revealed the first official pictures of the its four-seater Panamera.

The Panamera is the fourth-model in the Porsche range and will feature updated V-engines which will come with six and eight cylinders and range in power from 300 to 500bhp.

The range topping Panamera will feature a new all-wheel drive management system, which will also be available on other versions as an option.

Porsche is also developing a hybrid engine for the Panamera.

Further details on the engines, transmissions, performance, prices and equipment will be disclosed in spring, with sales starting worldwide from summer 2009.

Porsche is aiming for annual sales of 20,000 units globally.
