A wholesale distributor has started trading at a new warehouse after fire gutted their headquarters.

Randstad Ltd, which supplies various automotive parts and items, officially opened their new offices and warehouse in Cramlington, Northumberland today.

The previous site, less then half a mile away, was destroyed following the blaze on November 21.

The company plan to rebuild its original site next year and wants to expand its product base and business as a whole.

Randstad MD Martin Dowd said: "We now have more than 75% of our stock lines replenished and by the end of January we will be at 100%. "Business has also picked up quickly and we are delighted by how loyal our customers have remained to us.”
