It hopes the additional space will ease congestion and improve the flow of vehicles.
The group marked its 10 year anniversary at the site on Ashton Vale Road with a birthday auction on April 23, attended by more than 150 buyers attended, with a further 70 registered on Manheim’s live web auction service Simulcast.
Attendees were given free breakfast, with refreshments and canapés given out throughout the day. Buyers were given the opportunity to win £2,000, and every 10th car sold carried a £50 cash prize.
The multi-vendor event sold more than 300 vehicles, including stock from Chrysler, Mercedes-Benz and Lloyds TSB.
