Becky Green Becky Green (39), Mondial Assistance UK business development manager CRM

How did you get in to the automotive business?
I’ve a contact centre based background. I have focused on managing centres for car manufacturers since the ’90s.

What does your job entail?
Increasing awareness of Mondial’s CRM capability, developing relationships with clients, introducing new clients into the “innovations bureau” where we test campaigns and impact bottom lines and ultimately, securing new long-term CRM contracts.

How will your job change over the next few years?
The focus currently is on new business but as we win more and more, it will be managing and developing these accounts.

What advice would you give to young people joining the industry?
Prepare to battle. Customers are wiser than you think, they have more choice than ever before and brand image alone is insufficient.

What’s the worst career move you’ve ever made?
Working within the NHS.

And the best?
Predictable, but this one.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years’ time?
On a beach in Mauritius where the biggest decision of the day is Seabreeze or Pina Colado?
