The new service is available at www.businesslink.gov.uk.
Subscribers will be obliged to sign up with Government Gateway.
This involves completing an online form and supplying a password with a number.
Then Government Gateway issues a username.
In the manner of the British secret service agent Michelle in the television programme Allo Allo, it warns that it will say this only once.
So it must be copied immediately and stored safely.
Users can choose to have the service delivered monthly in a batch or as and when the new regulations are issued.
It is also possible to limit the scope of the emails to only those rules which directly affect the user’s business.
