A survey by Churchill Insurance has highlighted the regions where motorists are most likely to experience windscreen damage.

It found that East Anglia and southern England recorded the highest number of cases.

Churchill said this is due to the strong arable farming industry, because agricultural machinery leaving fields frequently leave debris on the roads which can be flicked up and damage windscreens.

So it appears that offering a windscreen repair service in these regions could be a source of regular revenue.
