Cadillac will launch a right hand drive version of the CTS sport saloon on September 1, with prices starting at £26,995.

At launch, the CTS will be available with two V6 petrol engines, an entry level 2.8 litre with 208bhp and 3.6 litre with 307bhp, which costs £6,000 more.

Both are fitted with six speed automatic gearboxes, operated by paddle controls on the larger engine, a limited slip differential and will be sold in a single Sport Luxury trim level.

Standard equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, leather trimmed dashboard and seats, dual zone climate control and a hard drive equipped ICE system with surround sound.

A 2.9 litre V6 diesel will join the range in 2009, and prices will be announced closer to the launch date.
