Online used car trading network Autotrade-Mail is about to launch a new version of its web portal, and needs dealers to beta test it.

It has already put the new version on trial at two of its dealer group clients, director Kevin Watson said he needs 100 dealerships to "test drive" the new interface ahead of it going live in case of any undetected issues.

"We have spent 18 months developing this all new website and are very proud of it," said Watson.

"A great deal of time has been given to creating a pleasing new interface for our members whilst at the same time retaining the familiarity and effective simplicity that they have enjoyed over the years."

He said the current site is very code heavy after nine years of continual development, and the new one will allow Autotrade-Mail to introduce new features at a much faster pace.

More than 4,000 franchised and independent dealers use Autotrade-Mail to trade part-exchange vehicles.
