This new partnership offer dealers an integrated HPI Check, including a check against HPI’s national mileage register (NMR) containing over 125 million records, in addition to a Cap and Glass valuation.
This new service will allow dealers to check the history of a vehicle, verify the mileage and obtain a valuation.
The vehicle information supplied by HPI is automatically backfilled into the Autoline system – removing the need for dealers to manually create vehicle records.
Daniel Burgess, director of automotive at HPI, said: "Fraudulent activity is still a major concern within the industry and we need to ensure we remain vigilant.
"Car cloning is on the rise as is the ‘clocking’ of vehicles, with over 1 in 12 mileages checked now showing a discrepancy."
