Contract hire and leasing company Masterlease has signed a solus deal with Ford’s franchised network for the service and repair of its Ford vehicles.

It operates more than 7,700 Ford cars and light commercial vehicles and the service and repair work for its fleet is worth more than £2.5m annually.

“Masterlease’s decision means that as many as 5,000 extra units will now be handled by Ford’s 620-strong authorised repairer network,” said Ford fleet aftermarket manager Andy Nicholson.

“We are pleased to have reached this agreement with Ford because the arrangement benefits all parties,” said Anthony Dowdall, head of in-life services and contracts at Masterlease.

“Ford has demonstrably supported its dealer network to win this valuable work,” added Dowdall.

“Masterlease will receive consistent standards and pricing for our service and repair business and our customers will have the comfort of their Ford service histories bearing Ford dealer stamps.”
