Ferrari has given notice of termination to its UK dealers ahead of the expiry of Block Exemption in 2010.

The current franchise contract will end on June 30, 2010, for all Ferrari dealers in Europe.

The exclusive carmaker said it would draw up revised agreements which comply with any future regulations introduced.

It would not comment on any changes this might make to the network of 15 full dealerships and two service centres.

Nick Whale Group recently took over responsibility in central England for Ferrari, following the closure of Pendragon-owned Stratstone Ferrari in Birmingham.

A new dealership is due to open in early 2010. Ferrari said Stratstone’s site in Manchester was unaffected.
