Honda UK’s revised CR-V will be priced from £20,175 when it goes on sale in the UK on January 5, 2010. 

Dealers will be taking orders for the new car from December which features a reworked 2.2-litre diesel engine, automatic gearbox for diesel models and revised exterior styling.

The range is broken into three trims: SE, ES and EX. The SE comes with 17-inch alloy wheels as standard as well as air conditioning, auxiliary socket, cloth upholstery and power-heated door mirrors.

ES grades get 18-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels, auto-dimming mirror, cruise control, double-deck cargo space, electric folding mirrors, half leather and Alcantara heated seats, headlight washers, front fog lights, leather steering wheel and gear knob, rear parking sensors, unique interior inlay trims and USB connector for an iPod.

The top of the range EX has full body-coloured bumpers, DVD voice-activated satellite navigation with premium audio and subwoofer, full leather upholstery with front heated seats, HID xenon headlights and auto headlight on function, panoramic roof, rain sensor, reverse tilt mirror and eight-way driver power seat.

Honda has increased the power output by 8bhp on the revised 2.2-litre diesel engine to boost it to 148bhp. Fuel economy remains at 43.5mpg for the manual transmission and 38.2mpg for the automatic.

Customers can also choose a 2.0-litre petrol option but it remains unchanged from the previous model. It produces 148bhp and has fuel economy of 34.4mpg with the manual and 33.6 with the automatic transmission.

Technology packs which include satellite navigation and Bluetooth hands-free telephone, are available on all SE and ES grades for £1,250.

Three new paint colours are aailable for 2010, premium white pearl, urban titanium and alabaster silver.

Five other metallic paints are available – crystal black, polished metal, sparkle grey, deep bronze and deep sapphire blue. Milano red is the solid colour available as standard.
