The AM Awards 2010 are almost upon us and the automotive equivalent of the oscars has confirmed the compere and comedian for the special night.

Dermot Murnaghan, Sky News Today anchor, will be the compere and Frankie Boyle  will provide the entertainment.

Boyle, a former favourite on Mock The Week, has been hailed by Scotland’s Sunday Mail as ‘sharp as the jaggiest jaggy bit of a thistle.’ He is a regular guest and writer on 8 Out Of 10 Cats.
