Three of BP Rolls Group’s bodyshop sites have gained Thatcham BSI Kitemark certification less than a year after applying.

The sites in Fareham, Andover, Southampton all had to prove they conformed to standards which included requirements that focus on skills, repair methods, equipment and materials. All these elements are then assessed by independent BSI inspectors and must meet stringent benchmarks if the Kitemark is to be awarded.

Daniel Bush, managing director said: "The hardest part in achieving the Kitemark was the availability of the training and the considerable investment.

“With the Kitemark achieved it shows our professionalism and gives customers the confidence that we are repairing their vehicles as per manufacturer’s guidelines. Hopefully this will also encourage more work providers to use us. "

Scott Hanney, BSI product services sales manager, said: "We are impressed with the dedication shown by BP Rolls Group in achieving the Kitemark and we truly believe that it will benefit their organisation and their customers. By gaining the accreditation it demonstrates how serious the bodyshop is about getting critical vehicle body repair safety processes right."
