Duchemin to leave Citroen UK

Xavier Duchemin, managing director of Citroen UK, has been appointed global marketing and communications director for Citroen Worldwide and will take up the Paris-based position in June.

Duchemin will be overseeing the deployment of the company’s new brand identity, customer relationship and business to business model, and new product lines which include the soon to be launched DS range.

Duchemin has been with Citroen for 18 years and has been UK managing director in the UK since 2005.

He succeeds Xavier Chardon who has been appointed managing director for France.

A new UK managing director will be announced in the near future.

Duchemin said: “These are exciting times for Citroen and I am very much looking forward to the challenges of building on the brand’s recent reinvention and taking my UK experiences to a more global platform.”
