Chrysler is pushing its aftersales service by offering free vehicle health checks at participating Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge dealerships.

The free vehicle health check includes a multi-point mechanical and safety check, electronic vehicle systems diagnostic check and any outstanding safety notices and recalls on the vehicle will be brought to the customer’s attention.

The carmaker is also offering, at a cost, three further aftersales checks:

Brake Check will include checking all things brake-related from pads, shoes, discs, drums and pipes to cyclinders, calipers, fluid levels and the ABS system.

The Traveller’s Check checks tyres (tread, pressure, damage and defects) brakes (condition, wear & tear and fluid levels) coolants (level, radiator & hoses defect and leakage) engine oil (level and condition) and battery (condition, charging test and alternator belt condition).

The Air Conditioning Service includes evacuation and recharge of refrigerant, visual inspection of pipework and hoses, system check for odour leaks, anti-bacterial treatment and operation and performance tests on the system.
