Henry’s Škoda in Glasgow has launched a new 24 hour touch screen booking system for customers to use out of hours.

The interactive touch screen system allows customers to have contact with the dealership out of hours as an extra measure for customers to contact the business and supports the online booking system on the Henry’s Skoda website.

Users are able to request a service, body repairs, MoT; request a test drive or make a used car enquiry - all by using the touch screen through the showroom window any time of the day or night.

Customers can browse through all of the latest car brochures and prices on screen and request either a paper copy sent to their home address or a link to a downloadable file sent via email.

The system was developed for Henry’s by Southampton based Intelletech.

It automatically sends customer enquiries directly to the sales or aftersales departments and creates a summary report.

Henry’s staff can also use the system in normal working hours and it can send a text message or email to customers thanking them for their visit to the showroom if their details are collected.

Bruce Henry, managing director at Henry’s Skoda, said: “With the growth of internet usage, customers want access to information and service when they need it.

“The system also sends information to our mobile phones and email as soon as a request is sent so that we can respond as quickly as is necessary, thus offering maximum flexibility to customers.”
