Marshall Motor Group is looking to expand its sales teams and is keen to encourage more women to join the motor industry.

Sue Porter, director of sales process at Marshall, said: “Traditionally this industry has attracted men into the sales roles, but today over 50% of our customers are women and we want our sales teams to reflect that more closely. It would be great to see a mixture of quality male and female candidates applying for these roles.”

Marshall has this week placed adverts for these roles in Cambridge, Bedford, Peterborough and Bury St Edmunds inviting prospective candidates to apply for roles at one of the Marshall Group’s 48 dealerships.

Porter said Marshall is not looking for people that have had previous experience in the automotive industry, as long as they are self-motivated and results orientated.
