James & Jenkins Garages in Cardiff has appointed Alun Davies, formerly finance and operations director at Vans Direct, as business manager.

Chris Newitt will take over as Škoda UK’s head of marketing on February 1. He replaces Mary Newcombe, who becomes head of learning services for all of Volkswagen Group UK brands. Newitt is currently head of retail operations for Volkswagen passenger cars.

Inchcape Mercedes-Benz has promoted Jeremy Podesta from business manager to general sales manager at its Liverpool dealership.

Mike Baimbridge, formerly in a management role at Stratstone, has been appointed as general manager of its Mercedes-Benz site in Warrington.

Paragon Group has appointed Neil Burrows, formerly managing director of Goodyear Dunlop’s HiQ fast fit franchise, as business development director.

Bristol Street Renault in Exeter has appointed Tim Hart as business manager. His predecessor Paul Reynolds has been promoted to new car sales manager.

Wayne Baker has joined Millers Oils as UK sales manager. His previous roles include regional sales manager at Unipart Group and UK sales manager at SIP Industrial Products.

Colin Appleyard Cars has taken on Malcolm Cohen as general manager at its Shipley site.

Bram van den Berg has become director at the Mazda Academy.
